Hey Jeremy,
I wanted to talk to you about the Internet. It seems like a pretty cool thing, right? It's full of YouTube videos and status updates and blogs - feels likr everyone has a blog these days. Everyone from noted authors to political weirdos to you! Even in my job at PBS, I am often confronted by the concept of a Mommy Blogger, two words that on their own seem fine but when placed next to each other somehow seem really condescending.
Anyway, remember 6 months ago when you and I started talking about me leaving TMS and the rest of the Internet to focus on other projects? That was dumb. I miss doing things with you, and I miss TMS. We started this mommy blog together and I would hate to just throw that away. So, I guess what I want to say is: I'm Back! Not that I am pushing my other projects to the side, quite the opposite. I want to fill you in on all the exciting (and not so exciting) things going on in my life and I want to hear about all the projects that you're up to. I say we use this blog to do just that, actually communicate instead of status updating little bits of nothingness. Let's have a real, honest, actual conversation. Let's do that.
