The More We Save or Goodbye Garbage or We're Having A Yard Sale!

Something weird is happening with this whole "don't buy stuff you can't afford" project we have going here. It seems like, now hear me out, the less we consume and the less money we spend the happier we are?! WHAT IS HAPPENING!? There seems to be a shift in our brain chemistry. It's changing and, in the opinion of this writer (Dylan, oh hey guys), I think it's for the best. The more time we spend together the more I am starting to understand the silliness of ‘things’. We’ve started focusing on paring down - that is cutting what we own in half or in thirds and just simplifying our spending and our life and our garbage output.

In our free time we have started looking at what we have and what it may (or may not) be doing to the world. We watched No Impact Man and felt like we are moving in the right direction (more on that in a later post). In keeping with our new found dedication to pairing down, we're having a yard sale! This saturday in honor of One Hundred Thousand and the desire to get rid of unneeded and unwanted items we are holding the coolest yard sale in Oak Square history. Check out our Craigslist ad!  We will be sure to update with our mad earning$ next week.

Side note: For years I have been making music. I like it. Some people seem to like it. I've never sold it, until now. If you like what you hear feel free to buy a copy. Lord knows the money will be used in a responsible way. You can check out my latest album Volume Eight: More Bullshit here.
