On Saturday something happened: Somewhere around 2 o'clock in the afternoon, somewhere in Weston, MA and under the hot summer sun our very own Richard Chudy and Katie Barszcz became two married people. Listeners of the show will know that this has been a long road to wedded bliss and the culmination of lots of planning, hard work and the result was amazing. I, as producer of this show and friend of the couple, had the pleasure of joining them in holy (guacamole) matrimony. No, listen: I literally joined them in marriage - it was intense and I was, and am, very honored to be a part of it.

Now, when we started this show I had only met Katie a couple times. I had known Richard since my first year in Boston and over the past year or so I have come to not only know Katie, but like Richard, fall in love with her and fall in love with these two as a couple. To say they are an inspiration is an understatement. We wouldn't be doing this show if I didn't feel that way. Their love and commitment to each other is something most people don't get to see everyday. I can't say enough about how amazing it is to see two people fall in love, get engaged and become one.

On Saturday something happened: The Bride was beautiful, the Groom was very handsome, the ceremony was great, the food was amazing, the people were a blast, and we all believed in true love. *Raises glass of kale juice* Here's to the beautiful couple, a lovely wedding and to many years of happiness, love and aged cheeses.
